Dear CRL Family –
In light of the concerns around COVID-19 (coronavirus), there have been many questions about how the normal operations of The Church of the Redeemed of the Lord will be impacted. In accordance with the public health announcement made yesterday by Maryland State Governor, Larry Hogan, The Church of the Redeemed of the Lord has made the decision to move our Sunday, March 15, 2020 worship experience from our normal in-person service to a fully virtual worship experience.
While we will broadcast an online worship experience, there will be no access to the church building.
Here’s what you can expect:
At 10:00am we will begin broadcasting on Livestream as well as on Facebook Live. The link to the Livestream can be found below.
The virtual experience will consist of Praise and Worship, Online Giving, Announcements, and the preached word by Bishop Jerome Stokes.
Prepare: Prepare your technology ahead of time. Be sure you are able to access all links and that your audio works on your device.
Engage: Using the chat box feature to engage with others in the online community can help you stay engaged and will also enhance the online experience.
Share: While we are attempting to get this message to everyone, some people may not know that we are having a fully virtual experience. Share this information now and share about your online experience on Sunday as well. Look out for some cool shareable graphics from our Marketing Department.
Give: Although we are not in the physical space for worship, the mission and vision of the ministry must continue. Be sure to use the online platforms for your tithes and offerings. If you are unable to give online, remember to set aside your tithe and/or offering for the next time we worship together.
While we apologize for any inconvenience this causes to our members and the community in which we serve, we want to continue to make sure we making the well being and safety of all of our members and visitors our priority.
